Job Description

Marlin Selection are currently working with a global energy trading and supply company that are presently looking for an experienced senior oil originatorto join their team in London.Your responsibilities would include (but are not limited to):

  • Originating Oil Deals
  • Negotiating contracts
  • Strategic relationship building – proactively develop and nurture relationships with new suppliers
  • Developing a strong network
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and changes
You will need to have the following experience:
  • Several years of previous experience with oil origination in a trading environment
  • Experience of Fuel Oil, Naphtha and/or Condensate products
  • Proactive and inquisitive mindset
  • Driven individual with a strong commercial outlook
  • Having an already pre-existing network is highly advantageous
  • Keen interest and passion in the energy markets
