London Based Financial Services firm seek a Senior Network Engineer. From a technical perspective, this is an opportunity to use new-to-market technologies such as Cisco ACI, VMWare NSX with expertise in cloud computing (AWS) and advanced routing. There will be design and architecture responsibilities as well as implementation. You will have experience with Cloud based networks (i.e. AWS) coupled with Switches, routers, LAN/WAN circuits, firewalls, load balancers, Wi-Fi, VPN devices, and dynamic routing protocols. Cisco ACI networks using APIC to control policies, TCP/IP. Understanding of data communication, data processing, and telecommunications facilities. Network diagnostic and monitoring tools (i.e. Solar Winds, ExtraHop, ITRS/Geneos, Cisco Prime, DNA). Data centre COLO vendors (i.e. Equinix).Extranet providers (Savvis, Radianz, TNS). Control models and network security on the following platforms: ASA, Palo Alto, F5, Sourcefire, and IOS/NX-OS and IOS/NX-OS. Planning, design, rollout and support of F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM, and Netscalers. Cisco VoIP, SIP/H.323/MGCP, Call Manager/Unified Communications Manager. Ideally some scripting experience in Ansible, PHP, R and Python. IaC skills such as Terraform and Cloud Formation Templates. Knowledge of FIX protocols. Experience in migrating client connectivity incl extranet and cross-connects. Working experience with SAFe Agile Framework or showing an aptitude for being able to adapt. Experience at the Professional to Expert level (CCNP, CCIE) in networking (wired or wireless).
