The team are responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network services that underpin FIS network infrastructure as well as clientapplications and services. What you will be doing:This role is aligned to the eCommerce business line withinWorldpay from FIS. You will work closely with infrastructure architects , development , project management and support teams to ensure that the successful implementation of new solutions meetsthe underlying requirements set out at the design stage. The role will also be responsible for maintaining the network infrastructure, deployment of new technology solutions and managing workstreams to deliver network requirements that underpin various project/ programs associated with the business.

• Act as the t echnical l ead on projects requiring network infrastructure and deliver project related workstreams within the agreed timelines, maintaining a thorough understanding of the end to end design.
• Responsible for the delivery of multiple concurrent projects, planning and scheduling work to the required quality to support the systems and applications used to provide FIS services.

• Complete service requests and implement change tasks allocated within the agreed timelines in support of the program rollout and ongoing maintenance of network infrastructure.
• Carr y out peer review for network related changes and adhere to the ITIL Change Management process.
• Responsible for performing IOS/firmware upgrades on network devices including routers, switches, and load balancers.
• Document, publish and maintains network artefacts that are in line with Company standards: HLD/LLD, process and procedures, configuration templates and knowledge base articles.
• Provide direction and support to colleagues, working closely with other members of the team and assisting with training/personal development where necessary.

• Provide third-line support of the Network infrastructure .

• Understand the wider business strategy and contribute to the overall goals of the business through infrastructure development, improvement, and support .

Note : The role includes regular OOHs and on-call work to implement network changes and to provide support to the overall project / client program as required. What you will need:

• Familiar with a broad range of Networking vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, A10, F5, VMware).
• Exposure to Cisco ACI, or another SDN.
• Exposure to Cloud methodologies and proven scripting experience (Python, Ansible).

• 10+ years experience working in Financial IT.

Added bonus if you have:

• Cisco Certified CCIE with wide exposure to Cisco ACI .
• Previously h eld a team lead role or lead engineer on multiple high-profile projects.
