Senior Network Engineer We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer to join our client on a permanent basis in London. This opportunity has hybrid working available. Our client is a rapidly expanding its specialist IT and Networks consultancy. TheRole As the Senior Network Engineer, you will have a pivotal role in the company and be the go-to expert for any Network and Infrastructure issues, helping to transform our Clients business. You will also be an escalation point for offshore. For this newlycreated role, our client are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Network Engineer to work full time for one of our prestigious clients who are located in the USA. Predominately based in our clients London office, the Senior Network Engineerwill be a key player in designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting highly available diverse network architectures, whilst assisting and advising the business by developing guidelines on the usage of complex systems and their components. Utilisingyour extensive networking knowledge (Data Centres/Campus/WAN) and proven trackrecord of working on global networks, you will become a crucial part in our Clients network.Skills and experience needed for the Senior Network Engineer: * Degree educated within a relevant technical field is preferred * Experience with Cisco ACI * Solid understanding of TCP/IP based networks and networking protocols (eg OSPF, BGP) * Experience building,designing and supporting LANs/WANs * Strong communication and presentation skills * Advanced level knowledge of Routing and Switching (eg CCNP or CCIE level/certified) * Experience of WAN circuits and solutions (eg MPLS and VPNs) * Knowledge of working withFirewalling technologies (Checkpoint/Palo Alto/Fortinet/Cisco) * Knowledge of Application Delivery Controllers (eg F5, Citrix) * Proficient level knowledge of networking design and documentation (HLD/LLD)Desirable skills include: * Network programmability and frameworks (Ansible/Python) * Software Defined Solutions and Network virtualisation (eg Cisco ACI/VMware NSX/Nuage) Cloud based solutions (AWS/Azure) * SC Cleared or the ability to undergo Security ClearanceTraining develops individuals through a portfolio of training and development options such as certified training courses, workshops, technical conferences, boot camps, on-line training and much more. You will have the opportunity to work on some of the mostadvanced networking hardware in the industry as well as development of your abilities and talents to become one of the best in the field. Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 gross per annumBenefits: 22 days basic holiday (increasing to a maximum of 25 days) Company pension scheme Private healthcare Healthcare cash plan Personalised career development plan. Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm). Overtime available foradditional hours worked. Location: Predominately based from our Clients London office, however hybrid working is available. Some travel across Europe may be required, averaging on twice per quarter.
