Job Description

Migration EngineerRecruitment Agency Ref: 135022We are working with a leading Housing Association to recruit for a Migration Engineer to join a domain modernisation project. The team are rationalising and consolidating two legacy AD domains and resources onto a new Active Directory domain.Rate: £400 per day outside IR35 Duration: 15 monthsLocation: Central London twice a week (occasional travel to other offices in England)The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading on technical delivery of Active Directory / applications migration activities
  • Auditing and discovery of application servers, systems deployments, and configurations
  • Using Microsoft Configuration Manager for application packaging and OSD task sequence management
  • Contributing to application roadmaps, migration paths, and delivery plans
  • Liaising and collaborating with other technical teams, business teams, third parties and vendors
The successful candidate will have:
  • Strong technical delivery experience in Active Directory / application migration projects
  • Extensive experience in Active Directory, M365, SCCM, Windows server
  • Knowledge of application packaging and task sequence management in MS Config Manager
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders across the business
