Job Description

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - London Ref: DB1301Competitive Salary Plus Benefits Our client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading independent sustainability led M&E firm. The firm have over 25 years experience delivering design and technical support across healthcare, education, private and publichousing, commercial and retail sectors.To be considered for this Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role you will have:

  • Degree or Masters in building services engineering/mechanical engineering
  • Minimum three years experience in building services design
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Brilliant time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Membership of a relevant society such as, CIBSE (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of building regulations
  • Proficient with softwares such as Revit, AutoCAD, and IES
Working as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will:
  • Provide design and technical advice on projects for clients
  • Support with business development
  • Liaise with architects, structural engineers, and contractors
  • Support with the development of junior staff
  • Prepare feasibility studies, project design and contract administration
  • Attend site progress meetings and review installations
  • Manage projects from inception through to completion
