Together, we will inspire people to take the step to foster for Hampshire and help us achieve our aims to grow our community of foster carers to meet the needs of our most vulnerable childrenand respond to an increased demand for foster homes.In this role, you will be based within Hampshire County Councils Marketing Team but work exclusively on supporting the Fostering Recruitment and Assessment Team in Childrens Services to recruit foster carers,particularly through paid digital marketing, offline advertising, events, and partnerships. A confident communicator, you will have excellent editorial, proof reading and report-writing skills. You will also need an understanding of marketing techniques andthe ability to manage competing and time-critical deadlines. Working alongside a Marketing Manager and the wider fostering recruitment and assessment team, you will promote fostering to the Hampshire community and recruit foster carers from a wider varietyof backgrounds to care for children in our care.You will have the opportunity to gain extensive experience from this role, gaining skills and experience of transformational work, marketing and fostering, and make a significant difference to the lives of peoplewho become foster carers and, most importantly, to the children that they go on to care for. Please note you may be required to visit other locations within Hampshire [and the Isle of Wight or other local authority], and therefore need to have the abilityto travel, as necessary. On an occasional basis, you may also need to work evenings and weekends, dependant on the needs of the service.
