Job Description

A reputable top interantional law firm is being supported by Ambition for its recruitment for a Senior Legal Cashier. This role offers a competitive salalry and the ideal candidate with have extensive cashiering experience in the Legal sector or ProfessionalServices.Working closely with the fee-earning departments, the successful canddiate will join an established Cashiers team, led by the Head Legal Cashier.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing foreign supplier invoices via Corpay
  • Processing disbursements made using Precision Pay/Credit Cards
  • Processing, payment and reconciliation of disbursements including foreign and UK disbursement payments
  • Posting and checking recharges and items
  • Handling disbursement write offs
  • Making amendments to clients and matters in line with anti-money laundering regulations
  • Handling client residual balances
  • Closure of client matters in line with SRA
  • Processing of client and/or office account payments
  • Dealing with client and/or office account receipts
  • Undertaking transfers between client and office account
  • Prepararing bank reconciliations as well as peer review of reconciliations
  • Preparation and processing of foreign payments
