Job Description

Senior Java Engineer - Big Data/Multithreading We are currently searching for an experienced Senior Java Engineer to join a global IT organisation based in central London, who are scaling up their European HQ. This leading communications compliance provider is developing innovative solutions for theirfinancial clients for email, social media and voice messaging.The Senior Java Engineer will have experience with multithreading, low latency and concurrency. Day to day responsibilities will include building microservices, using Docker and Kubernetes and 3rd party API integrations. You will also be working with bigdata technologies like Hadoop, Kafka and Cassandra.This Senior Java Engineer (Big Data/Multithreading) role will be a strong fit if you:

  • Have extensive multhreading experience
  • Enjoy working with big data technologies like Hadoop (or if you are keen to learn!)
  • Have messaging experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ or MongoDB
As the Senior Java Engineer, you will be a strong advocate for modern development ways of working including pair programming, Agile and BDD/TDD. This company (during normal times!) is a regular host of tech meetups, hackathons and conferences and they arelooking for someone who continuously wants to learn new technologies.Benefits on offer from this company:
