  • Business consulting: Quantitative research, Risk management (e.g. Market risk, credit risk, counterparty risk), Banking regulations (e.g. Basel III, Solvency II, FATCA, EMIR, MiFID), Pricing & Valuation, Organisational Transformation & Process Improvement.
  • IT & Information systems consulting: Business Analysis, Project Management, Change management, Front Office Support (functional and technical), Development (e.g C++, Python, C#, Java, VBA), Financial Softwares (e.g. Sophis, Murex, Summit, Calypso), IT Transformation& Innovation.
As part of Quanteam Group, Quanteam UK (incorporated in 2010) has today more than 80 consultants, working for major Capital Markets institutions in London.OVERVIEWWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with a strong background in OTC derivatives products to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java-based applications, with a focus on OTCderivatives trading and risk management systems.RESPONSABILITIES
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications for OTC derivatives trading platforms.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement new features.
  • Optimizing application performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions.
  • Mentoring junior team members and sharing best practices.
ESSENTIAL SKILLSET/EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) in Java development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Proven expertise in OTC derivatives products, including swaps, options, and other complex financial instruments.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and trading workflows.
  • Experience with front-office trading systems and risk management platforms preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
