The Retail Lab mobile teams are part of the Retail Transformation directorate and are fully agile teams that strive for excellence.Joining our team, youll have opportunities to participate in internal Hackathons, coding challenges and bi-weekly platform meetings and be a member of a great engineering community passionate about sharing knowledge and learning.About the roleWere looking for a self- motivated Senior iOS Engineer contribute to the technical leadership teams work of driving the technology and future of the platform. Youll have technical know-how from crafting, developing, and producing mobile components andservices, stakeholder management working closely with strategy and UX/UI Design teams to architect, design and implement solutions and you love mentoring and educating less experienced developers.Security is at the heart of everything we do at LBG and our Engineers contribute to building a secure culture. Itll feature as a key part of your role - having a secure mindset to provide strong and resilient business solutions that safeguard our businessand customers from security threats.What were looking for:

• Excellent knowledge of Swift and iOS SDK and experience in building mobile applications for iOS
• Good understanding of architecture patterns, design principles, interface guidelines and best practices
• Experience in writing unit tests, UI automation and CI/CD and automation tools
• Strong knowledge of Apple UI design principles, interface guidelines, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirement and an interest in benchmarking and optimisation
• Proficient in code versioning tools, such as Git, Jenkins, Fastlane

It would also be great if you had :

• Cloud message APIs and push notifications
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design as well as knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services
• MVVM architecture, RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services i.e., PromiseKit
• Experience with Agile principles and methodologies and usage of related tools - JIRA and Confluence
