Job Description

As Senior Investment Specialsit -Private Credit Solutions you will support the execution of client strategies for existing and new Private Credit investors with a focus on the Luxembourg domiciled platform. Engaging with distribution colleagues in Europeand Asia to build new client relationships and expand existing ones. Identifying investment opportunities to meet client needs and work collaboratively with Product and other stakeholders to deliver them. Delivering high quality client service to existingand prospective Private Credit clients as well asa subject matter expert on:LGIMs Private Credit capabilities and investment opportunities;

  • Investor due diligence/on-boarding;
  • Changes in investment market trends;
  • Appraisal of new business ideas; and
  • Specialist Private Credit investor relations
This opportunity will be an initial 12 month fixed term contract.What youll be doing
  • Contributing to the origination and development of new business initiatives for Private Credit
  • Aiding the sourcing of new business opportunities by understanding client investment needs and influencing Private Credit business strategy
  • Managing existing products, segregated accounts, and new products, partnering as appropriate with Product Strategy and Development, LGIM Distribution and Investment teams.
  • Ensuring that all sales and marketing activities are undertaken within the relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks
  • Communicating investor requirements to the investment team
  • Serving as a go-to Private Credit specialist for internal client relationship managers communicating subject matter expertise periodically to the distribution team
  • Building external profile for the Private Credit business, by speaking at events, attending conferences, authoring articles in professional journals and blogs
  • Contributing to the thought leadership and marketing agendas
  • Working collaboratively with teammates and internal stakeholders to support the delivery of Private Credit business objectives
What were looking for
  • Straight forward communication of investment opportunities to clients and feedback from clients to the investment team
  • Investment acumen to actively engage with clients 1:1 and to match the right LGIM RA investment opportunity to the outcome the client is seeking
  • Energy and drive to convert clients to close
  • An existing Private Credit investor and consultant network in Europe and the UK
  • Strong market knowledge of private and public credit markets as well as broader real asset classes
  • Excellent written and presentation skills
  • Organised and able to prioritise, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under time pressure and with accuracy
  • Team player, ability to work independently and proactively to take ownership of tasks, as well as part of a team.
