Job Description

SENIOR INSIGHT ANALYSTSouth West LondonThis client is an international business and work with some global leaders within their industry sector. Their business is growing, and they are looking for a focused and dedicated analyst to join their business. This client is at the cutting edge within their industry sector helping to driving profits using their expertise to add value to client’s businessRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide analysis of data from a variety of sources to deliver actionable and valuable insights to their clients.
  • Providing day to day analytical support to client, exclusively within software solutions.
  • As the analyst you will be expected to proactively identify opportunities and insights for clients
  • Potential for line management as part of this role.
    • Key Tasks:• Leverage knowledge of data and products to derive valuable insight for the customer and continuously demonstrate value of our products (and ways to improve our value from product/service enhancement)• Deliver excellent product demonstrations to both technical and non-technical audiences• Take ownership to ensure client issues are resolved quickly by the team and the root cause is identified and managed• Support Manager and Relationship Manager(s) in delivery of client requirements for proactive, tactical and ad-hoc analysis, and product / service development opportunities.KEY BACKGROUND SKILLSEssential:• Experience of applying analytics / an analytical approach either in a work or academic setting• Strong Excel and PowerPoint competence• A creative and proactive attitude towards finding solutions and delighting our clientsTECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Strong technical skills including SQL & Advance Excel
  • Any of the following: R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, SSRS, SAS, SPSS, Google Cloud Platform including Big Query.
  • Strong communication skills, able to present effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of retail operations and processes
    • Desirable:
  • 3+ years’ experience in an analytical role
  • Experience of using analytics and data to drive improvements/solutions/profits &efficiencies
  • A creative and proactive attitude towards finding solutions and delighting our clients
  • University degree, preferably in a numerate subject
  • Knowledge of Consumer goods
