Job Description

Senior Infrastructure Project Manager - £60,000-£70,00+Benefits - LondonMy client is a leading light in the Financial Services arena based in London. Due to continued growth we have an urgent requirement for a Permanent Senior Infrastructure Project Manager.As the Senior Infrastructure Project Manager you will be taking the lead within a fast paced team and managing a number of exciting new infrastructure Projects over the next 12 months. These projects include:

  • Desktop Cyber Threat Protection
  • Server Cyber Threat Protection
  • Global Video Conference replacementMicrosoft Teams & Crestron
  • Umbrella Web Filtration
  • IT GovernanceISO 27001
  • Multiple office relocation projectsNew York, Stockholm, Hong Kong & Dubai
  • File ServiceReplacement of ICGs legacy widow file server
  • Office Remote Management
  • Business application projects
The Senior Infrastructure Project Manager will be working closely the Head of IT Infrastructure and Infrastructure Technical Architect on high level roadmap plans. You will be required to act as Agile Scrum Master on a number of projectsbut still occasionally using Waterfall methods when needed. On a daily basis the Senior Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for:
  • Allocating tasks to relevant team members and tracking progress through two-week agile sprints
  • Liaising with and managing where required, external suppliers and implementers
  • Identifying and managing project dependencies
  • Defining and preparing communications, progress reports and plans
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met
  • Identifying and tracking project risks and issues; working with stakeholders to mitigate and close out issues as appropriate
  • Interpreting business needs and translating them into requirements and actions
  • Communicating in a clear and concise way to all stakeholders (both technical and non-technical)
  • Adapting plans quickly as things change and understanding the impact on the overall roadmap
  • Capable of overseeing project transition into BAU operation (Service Transition)
