Job Opportunity: Senior Infrastructure EngineerLocation: London (Hybrid)Type: Contract (Outside IR35)Duration: 3-Month TermOur esteemed client is in search of an accomplished Senior Infrastructure Specialist to join their team. This role presents a hybrid opportunity, classified as Outside IR35, with a 3-month contractual engagement, offering potential extensions. Experienceworking in the Financial/Insurance sector will be highly favored.Position Overview:As an Experienced Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and upkeeping our infrastructure systems. We require a candidate with a robust skill set and experience in various dimensions of infrastructure engineering, encompassing:- Proficiency in Windows OS systems administration (Windows Server 2012 R2/2016/2019, Windows 10).- Advanced expertise in managing Windows domain environments (Active Directory, Group Policy, Certificate Services, etc.).- Mastery in Azure, Office 365, and Exchange Online administration.- Profound familiarity with highly virtualized environments (VMWare v6.5+ is a plus).- Previous involvement in administering and preserving Storage Area Networks.- Basic SQL server administration, including installation, access control, and data backup/restore.- A solid foundational understanding of network administration (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).- Previous experience with firewall, switch, or router administration (Palo Alto or Cisco background is preferred).- Strong skills in application packaging and deployment.- Proficiency in establishing and sustaining desktop image deployment solutions.- Competency in implementing and maintaining patch deployment solutions.- Demonstrable experience with an identity and access management solution (e.g., OneLogIn, Duo, Okta, ADFS).Core Competencies:- Systems engineering- Analytical skills- Windows proficiency- Infrastructure management- System administration- Engineering background- VMware knowledge- Operational and maintenance skillsIf you are a dedicated and skilled Infrastructure Engineer with experience, seeking a fresh challenge, we encourage you to reach out.
