Job Description

Senior Infrastructure Engineer (3rd line) Im recruiting for a Infrastructure engineer (3rd line) to work for a client who is looking for the below technical skills coupled with good communication and the ability to work well within a team and support others. This role will be balanced between BAUand some project work.The team covers Windows technologies a covering a wide range of components such as DHCP, DNS, AD, GPO, Monthly Patching, storage, networkingExperience:

  • VMware Esxi versions 5.5, 6.5 or 7 - Experience with building and managing servers, hosts in a corporate environment
  • Experience with Commvault is a must
  • Strong Active Directory experience - ADFS, Group policies, domain controllers
  • Windows Server (2012+) - support and engineering
  • Any experience with cloud technologies such as Azure would be useful
  • Any experience with automation such as PowerShell scripting or similar would be useful
The salary is paying £60,000 - £65,000.
