Job Description

Interim Human Resources ManagerImmediate start for at least 2 months (strong possibility of extension)£negotiable depending on experienceCentral London (remote interviews and working are possible as a result of COVID-19)My client, an organisation providing expertise and leadership in sustainable development is seeking an interim Senior HR Manager to advise and support the organisation at both a strategic and operational level. This is a leading HR role managing and guiding a team of 3.The successful candidate will have the following experience and be able to hit the ground running:

  • Able to provide a wide range of high-quality HR services, support and advice on strategic, policy, operational and personal matters to line managers and employees.
  • Experience of line managing a team with proven ability to lead, provide direction to, support and motivate staff.
  • Chartered Member of the CIPD
  • Sound knowledge of the principles of employment law including demonstrable ability to interpret relevant legislation
  • Experience of designing, implementing and reviewing HR related projects
  • Proven ability to manage employee relations issues effectively.
  • Evidence of previous contributions to HR policy review and development as well as reform of HR systems, processes and practices
  • Proven experience of coordinating recruitment processes
  • Experience of change management.
  • Experience of working with outsourced payroll providers or supporting an in-house payroll
  • Experience or knowledge of Safeguarding and management of external complaints procedure
  • Familiarity with working in a unionised environment and / or an organisation that is committed to equal opportunities and diversity
