This will work directly with the investment team, managing the P&L across their Fixed Income and Derivatives trading lines, and support with analysis on performance. There is a junior product controller in the team who will cover the granular reconciliationtasks, which gives you more time to work with their in-house Ops/Tech team on automation and process improvement projects. The business has been very proactive in identifying a future need within the team so are hiring now to avoid overworking the team asthey continue to expand- this a reflection of their general approach to work.For this role, we are looking for experience fund accountants/product controllers with exposure to Fixed Income and/or Derivatives. They are looking for someone who has the gravitas to lead the team in the near future so any management experience is helpful.Youshould have excellent excel skills (VBA desirable) and be confident communicating across all levels with a business.They also pay extremely well- particularly with bonuses (almost everyone in the team receives 50%+) and continue to have market leading returns. The firms culture is a key differentiator when compared to other Hedge Funds- the hours are far friendlierthan other hedge funds (with hybrid working and some flexibility), and they have only had 1 person leave in the last few years.
