Job Description

A high growth global infrastructure manager who have doubled AUM in the last few years are seeking to appoint their first London-based hire on the Funds Finance side into a commercial and strategic role, suited to an experienced fund controller, financialcontroller or head of finance or similar coming from an infra or private equity style background.The fund finance function works closely with the investment team, tax, management company, investor relations, and legal; being able to wear many hats and keep the plates spinning is a key attribute!With a proven track record of raising funds and deploying capital quickly, this is an ideal opportunity to get in early and ride the wave towards a more senior position in the future.Responsibilities:

  • Fund Accounting oversight (all outsourced) including approvals of fund NAVs, financial statements, LP/GP accounts, audit point of contact and alike, including management of a qualified accountant and key point of contact for service providers.
  • Compile, analyse and prepare Funds financial data and operating metrics for recurring and ad-hoc management reporting and requests including the quarterly investor letters.
  • Contribute to global technology initiatives and automation to help the firm continue to improve processes.
  • Support Investor Relations with recurring and ad-hoc investor reporting, DDQs, fund raising, and ongoing requests.
  • Monitor and manage the funds liquidity including preparing borrowing requests and processing paydowns on the credit facility or issuing investor capital calls and distributions notices with the fund administrator.
  • Review and complete complex management fee and carried interest waterfall calculations with the fund administrator.
  • Assist in an on-boarding project for a Treasury Management System to increase efficiency, increase security, and enhance the treasury process.
  • Ensure funds compliance with domestic and foreign regulators, ISDA counterparties, and credit facility lenders.
  • Ad hoc project work as required.
Your background:
  • Qualified Accountant with relevant PQE in-house at a private equity, infra or private debt manager; likely around 10 years+ PQE.
  • Experience with closed end fund structures is essential.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving, quantitative and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand, evaluate, and improve processes.
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task, be flexible and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Bandwidth, energy and passion; collaborative working style and comfortable taking on new tasks and throwing yourself outside of your comfort zone.
Salary on offer is in the region of £150-175k base plus bonus in the 50%+ range. Hybrid working and central London location.Eames Consulting is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
