Job Description

Senior Frontend Developer - Retail fintech start up!Are you a Senior Frontend Developer actively looking for a new role Would you love to work for a business working with some of the biggest consumer electronics companies in the world If so, your client has the role for you!This business is backed by millions of pounds worth of funding has been started by some of Europes leading Retail Finance entrepreneurs. They have single handily help take businesses from 1 person to 500+ and raised billions of pounds worth of funding!The business already has over 500 businesses sign up with over 95% of those being within the e-commerce space. The products are both online and in store and provide people with the opportunity to purchase products from some of the biggest brands on the globe!As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Working on the front-end strategy and roadmap.
  • Be hands on working on React front ends and node develop the consumer journey and customer account management systems.
  • Help to define the system architecture and its evolution, including componentisation, BFFs, service-interaction, authentication, third-party integrations.
  • Working on greenfield projects as well as maintaining existing platforms to get them working at high scale.
  • Work with the following tech stack: React/Redux, GCP, GitHub Actions for CI, Python/Django, some Node.
The successful candidate will have experience with a combination of the following skills and experiences:
  • 2:1 Degree at a Russell Group University or Equivalent - Computer Science or STEM
  • 5+ Years commercial experience working with ReactJS.
  • Backend experience with one of: Java, C#, .net, NodeJS, Python.
  • Experience working within the Fintech sector would be ideal but not essential!
