**Job Opportunity: Financial Controller for Exciting Fintech Startup**Are you ready to join a dynamic and successful fintech startup We are seeking a talented and fully-qualified Financial Controller to join at a thriving fintech startup based in Africa. Similar to Revolut, this startup specialises in online payments, albeiton a smaller scale. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to their growth story, all while working fully remotely (and reporting to the UK-based CFO)Responsibilities:- Manage and streamline financial processes and procedures- Enhance efficiency by reducing month-end reporting timeframes- Optimise their financial system (Xero) for improved performance- Collaborate with the CFO based in the UK on various financial mattersRequirements:- Experience in large or complex business environments- Strong understanding of financial systems- Ability to work remotely and adapt to local time at times (GMT+3)- Excellent communication and collaboration skillsAdditional Information:- Remote position with no requirement to visit Kenya- Initial 3-6 month assignment with potential for extension or permanent role- Competitive compensation: £500 - £650 outside IR35 (equal to £700- £1000 inside IR35)In our company values we aim for equity at all stages of the recruitment process, please let us know if we can do anything to make the process more accessible to you.
