About the teamYou will join as part of the Enterprise Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team within the Merchant Solutions (Worldpay) line of business at FIS. The team, of eight heads, is responsible for the overall forecasting and analysis of the Enterprise divisions$1.4BN P&L. Forecast accuracy and driving value add analytics both within the finance organisation and outside of it are key focuses of the team. The team works closely with the Finance Partner team to steer the business towards achieving its financial targets. Worldpay has a very exciting future ahead as a stand-alone business as we spin off from FIS, following the sale of a majority stake to private equity firm GTCR in a deal that values Worldpay up to $18.5 BN. What you will be doingAs a Financial Analyst, youll have your finger on the financial pulse of the entire organization. Working with a diverse team, youll be responsible develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. The main areas ofresponsibility are: • Own and deliver the end-to-end financial planning, forecasting and analysis activities for a commercial region • Develop and produce reporting and analysis that is timely, reliable, incisive and insightful, supporting and the delivery of business objectives • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to increase effectiveness and influence of role; namely regional Partner, Accounting team, wider finance team etc • Play key role in the annual budget/plan process • Own and develop regional financial models, building improvements and efficiencies where applicable to improve level of forecasting/analysis • Liaise with Accounting on month end queries/issues where necessary to resolve promptly and minimize impact to close period What you bring:• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (preferably CIMA) • A bachelors degree, ideally financial/Economics, or another numerate discipline but not essential • Minimum 2 years experience within FP&A, across either Revenue or Cost • Demonstrated experience in financial modelling and driving analytics to improve insights • Highly motivated & confident self-starter • Experience in a fast paced, dynamic and complex industry • Strong relationship building skills • Essbase/Oracle experience, strong excel skills Added bonus if you have:• Strong interpersonal skills - a confident communicator • Proactive, enthusiastic with a strong ability to work well independently and within a team • Highly organised, with good time management skills and an ability to multi-task • Ability to build a network and comfortable interacting with a diverse group of stakeholders • MS Office experience, specifically Excel and PowerPoint • You have a keen interest in the payments and technology industry • Experience working for a global organisation, building relationships with international stakeholders • Experience of working in a transformational environment, with proven ability to stand up new value add processes and reports/insights • Proven ability to present financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders What we offer you
