Job Description

Senior Financial Analyst (12-MONTH FTC)£60,000-£70,000 p.a. Hybrid, London We are currently working with a fast-growing accounting and funds consultancy in central London looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst for their corporate accounting team.You will be responsible for the management of the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities of the group reporting to the Head of the team.Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the creation and presentation of monthly and quarterly reports for key stakeholders
  • Support the Senior Manager and Head of FP&A in the business planning cycle, providing detailed financial modeling and analysis for the strategic/business plan as well as budget/forecasts of the group
  • Participate in the quarterly re-forecasting process, encompassing the development of billings and revenue forecasts, direct cost forecasts, as well as indirect and group operating costs
  • Develop and construct the staff cost model, examining KPIs and variances to budget narrative
  • Prepare and maintain the Group Consolidation model and consolidated accounting
  • Produce year-end accounts, taking the lead on accounting standards and tax compliance, overseeing the year-end audit of group companies, and managing board and regulatory reporting
  • Group Cash Flow Forecasting
  • Assist with group tax compliance
Minimum Requirements:
  • Accounting Qualification (ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA)
  • Strong experience in similar role in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting
  • UK GAAP/ IFRS knowledge
  • Excellent Excel skills, including financial modelling
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
