Job Description

About The Client:We are delighted to be working with a PE-backed global leader in test and technology solutions. Their comprehensive services span rental, lease, sales, and asset management across diverse industries worldwide.The Role:As a Financial Accountant in the EMEA Finance team, youll play a pivotal role in managing annual audits, statutory reporting, and various ad hoc tasks. Collaborate closely with the Group team to align accounting policies and processes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the local annual audit and act as a primary contact for external auditors.
  • Prepare statutory accounts for UK and European entities, ensuring Local GAAP compliance.
  • Serve as a technical accounting expert, aligning with US GAAP or local GAAP.
  • Collaborate with the Group Finance team to ensure policy compliance.
  • Coordinate process reviews with the Group Internal Audit team.
  • Assist in month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Drive process improvements and contribute to system testing for new functionalities (Dynamics 365).
  • Work with external tax advisors for EMEA companies and coordinate tax strategy groupwide.
  • Assist in the budget process and ensure timely Office for National Statistics Reporting.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects under the guidance of the Financial Controller and Finance Director.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent with audit background and strong technical accounting skills.
  • Experience with US GAAP or IFRS and group consolidation in multi-currencies.
  • Strong analytical and IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Advantageous to have experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Effective communicator with relationship-building skills.
  • High level of personal motivation, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Hybrid position, onsite in Harrow, U.K. offices three days a week.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work expected hours and occasional travel within the European region.
