Job Description

Senior Financial Accountant - MiningCentral London / Hybrid£65-75k + 10% bonus + private medical + strong bens packageSenior Financial Accountant opportunity for a dynamic and fast growing Mining business based in central London.The Senior Financial Accountant will have a broad remit - with ownership over internal controls, management and financial accounting, and partnering with non-finance staff to help deliver on the Groups strategic growth plans.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for entities within the UK - ensuring relevant accounting policies are adhered to
  • Partner with wider finance team to ensure accuracy on journal entries, invoice and bank processing
  • Support both internal and external audit process
  • Liaise with overseas accounting teams in relation to weekly reporting for the CFO
  • Support on complex financial analysis - providing feedback and suggestions where necessary
  • Partner with non-finance teams to ensure consistency of financial support across the business
  • Prepare FX rates for the group on a monthly basis
  • Mentor junior members of the finance team
Key Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Strong technical skillset with experience gained at Group level
  • SOX experience highly desirable
Package:
  • £65-75,000
  • Bonus scheme - circa 10% for this level
