Job Description

Talentedge are exclusively partnering with a very exciting blockchain digital trading platform scaleup in their search for a Senior Finance Manager/Financial Controller. The role will be the Group Finance Director’s 1st hire and will be pivotal in structuring and scaling the finance function to keep pace with growth.This role will be a good fit for a candidate seeking a broad role encompassing commercial and strategic finance, as well as having ownership and oversight of all financial and management accounting processes.Key responsibilities to include:

  • Design and roll out key financial processes and controls to support this rapidly scaling business
  • Lead on design and implementation of BI and analysis to support the SMT in decision making
  • Drive all budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
  • Deliver the monthly board pack including management accounts and KPI reporting
  • Produce investor and other stakeholder reporting packs and communications
  • Manage the relationship with external accountancy firm on statutory reporting and tax work
  • Manage transactional finance, using technology to automate where possible
    • Profile:
  • Qualified accountant with minimum of 2-3 years post qualified experience
  • Experience in the fintech or tech sectors preferable
  • Mathematical and data driven in approach
  • Experience in a FCA regulated business advantageous but not essential
  • Xero/Netsuite experience
  • Able to work at pace, and meet ad hoc requests from exec team as well as external investors as required
  • Strong communicator with the ability to manage relationships at levels, both internal and external
  • Passion for blockchain technology and crypto currencies
