Job Description

  • Senior Finance Manager (ACA)
  • 18 month contract

  • London based with remote working available
    • A Senior Finance Manager is required to work for FTSE 100 Consumer business based in Central London (with fully flexible working available) on an 18 month maternity cover. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an iconic and forward-thinking brand with an internationally renowned presence.Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, you will be working in the EMEA Headquarters based in London and will be working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The role will include the management of a small team, taking ownership of the group reporting and managing the IFRS16 for the business globally including managing specific projects. Responsibilities include:
  • Project-related work including continuous improvement and enhancement of group-wide policies, particularly IFRS16
  • Business partnering with the property teams based globally to support them with understanding the lease accounting requirements
  • Production of the interim and annual consolidated statutory group financial statements under IFRS
  • Manage and develop direct reports including recruitment, appraisals, and training
  • Provide effective technical accounting guidance on IFRS16 and support to wider finance teams
    • To be considered you must be an ACA/CA Qualified Accountant with 3+ years post qualified experience who has qualified from a Big 4 or Top 10 Practice. Previous experience auditing or working for a multinational and ideally listed business where you have dealt with group consolidation is essential. Strong knowledge of IFRS is essential, IFRS16 experience is hugely beneficial. Proven examples of where you have implemented, or improved policies and processes are strongly advantageous.
