Job Title: Senior Finance Manager - Statutory and Regulatory Reporting (Contract)Location: London (Hybrid)Duration: 6 months (Contract - Inside IR35)Rate: £500-700 per dayWere looking on behalf of a client for a Senior Finance Manager for an interim position to work with a General Insurer to lead a team handling statutory and regulatory reporting.Key Responsibilities: As a Senior Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements within the UK insurance industry. Your responsibilities will include:* Overseeing the preparation and submission of accurate and timely statutory financial statements.* Collaborating with internal teams to gather and analyse financial data for regulatory reporting.* Manage continuous improvement of processes.* Managing relationships with regulatory bodies and external auditors.Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you should possess:* Must have a proven track record in a similar finance management role within the insurance sector.* Extensive experience in statutory and regulatory reporting within the UK.* Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards applicable to the insurance industry.* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Requirements:* Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.* Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in insurance finance.* Familiarity with UK GAAP and IFRS.* Good knowledge of Solvency II
