Job Description We are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager to join a growing business based in London on a fixted term contract basis for 9-12 months. Morgan McKinley London are delighted to be partnering with a growing business based in the heart of the city for a Senior Finance Manager role. This will be on a fixed term contract basis for 9-12 months paying up to £90,000. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the Director of Internal Controls in the SOX implementation project oversight
  • Lead & design structure for recurring risk assessments
  • Lead efforts about policy updates, education, monitoring, and enforcement initiatives to ensure financial statement accuracy
  • Support the control design and testing procedures
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and continually improve the value delivery of the Internal Controls
  • Liaison with External Auditors and Internal Audit team to determine and facilitate audit activities
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), part qualified or QBE with a grounded experience in financial controls.
  • Extensive knowledge of risks, processes, and internal controls within all main process areas.
  • Exposure to USGAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX 404) is preferred
  • Implementation of best practice internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO, COBIT).
  • External / Internal Audit experience.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills in relation to stakeholder management.
  • Experience in driving control improvements and remediation actions with global teams including as part of finance transformation projects.
