Job Description

Your future employer is looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer to join the growing business, to add support to the London area, and provide training to the team. They offer a competitive package of £35k-£40k basic salary, plus overtime, as well as acompany vehicle, generous holidays and more. This is an excellent business that provides repairs and services to traditional / barista coffee machines, so previous experience working on similar equipment is essential.Duties of the coffee machine engineer:

  • Working on a range of traditional / barista coffee machines
  • Previous experience training and developing engineers
  • Carrying out machine repairs, services and installations
  • Carrying out fault finding and diagnostics
  • Working on installations and leading other team members for larger projects
  • Carrying out planned maintenance
  • Working alongside the technical manager
  • Covering a local area, and occasionally travelling to further jobs
  • Provide excellent customer service and training
  • Liaise with the service team for reactive calls
Previous experience of the coffee machine engineer:
  • 3 years’ engineering experience on traditional coffee machines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous leadership experience
  • A strong understanding of electrical and plumbing works
  • Previous fault-finding skills (use of a multimemeter)
  • Full, clean UK drivers licence
Due to the nature of the position and the generous package on offer, previous engineering experience on coffee machines is essential for this role.
