Senior Exchange / Domino / Notes Administrator (via an umbrella company only)How would you like a potentially long-term role being the messaging specialist for one of the largest corporates on the planetThis particular global financial services institution is looking for someone to be responsible for the operational support, administration and maintenance of their enterprise IT messaging systems.The role will involve :Running the key enterprise scale IT Messaging systems (such as E-mail and Instant Messaging) which are deployed across EMEA and North America.Proactive system supportPerforming process driven system checks and responding to system alerts and exceptionsAssisting in operationalising newly introduced technologies by ensuring effective monitoring, data backups and recoverability requirements are metDocumentation, when requiredSupporting a wide range of messaging technologies including those from Domino/Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange/Outlook/Skype/Teams)Management of high-volume helpdesk queue and processing systems access requestsYou will need the following to be considered for the role :Strong experience as a messaging specialist and in specific messaging roles (the client isn’t looking for a generalist server or infrastructure engineer), preferably within banking / financial servicesStrong Microsoft Exchange Online / O365 / Intune / Skype Teams skillsStrong Lotus Notes / Domino server skillsWindows 2012/16 server.Powershell scriptingIQ SuiteClearswift / Proofpoint Email GatewaysEMC SourceOne email archivingeFax solutionsGood understanding and practical knowledge of MS Exchange Online / O365 platform (admin/t-shoot)Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows server (2012/16) and desktop (10) platformsGood working knowledge of IBM Domino / Lotus NotesGood working knowledge of SMTP protocolGood knowledge of basic networking functions/ protocols - DNS/DHCP/MX etcGood knowledge of working with virtualized technologies (VMware / Citrix)Strong technical documentation writing skillsKeywords : messaging, mail, email, groupware, skype, exchange, exo, notes, domino, ibm, Microsoft, engineer, server, servers, analyst, admin, administrator, consultant, engineer, support, analyst, windows Required skills
