Job title: Senior Engineer - Product Assurance Location: Barrow or Filton. Salary: From £40,000 dependent on skills and experience What you’ll be doing: • Demonstrating an understanding of how Mutual Assurance can be applied between industrial partners/ governments • Managing Change and Concessions and enacting the associated processes • Understanding of high energy/pressurised engineered systems • Inspecting engineering systems to ensure they meet the correct standards and requirements • Design and safety documentation production Your skills and experiences: Essential: • Hold a degree in a STEM subject or demonstrable equivalent experience • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Desirable: • Relevant information knowledge or experience on submarine systems Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The SWSS and USDPS Team: The Dreadnought Alliance is formed between the Ministry of Defence’s Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA), BAE Systems and Rolls-Royce and are responsible for delivery of safe and fit for purpose Dreadnought submarines to the Whole Boat Technical Specification. The Product Assurance (SWSS) Engineer is responsible for the demonstration of how the UK MoD takes Mutual Assurance from the US based Shipbuilder (Design Authority) for the Strategic Weapon Support Systems (SWSS) and United States Designed Platform Systems(USDPS).
