Senior DevOps Engineer (SRE)£80,000 - £110,000London A truly innovative business in the betting & gaming sector, our client offers a mix of gambling and investment, creating a unique gaming concept. They are highly profitable, continue to invest and build new products, and as such, are a great company for any creative software professional who is looking to develop their career further. Owing to unprecedented growth over the last 12 months, the company is now looking to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their tech team in London.Role & Tech

  • You have an opinion about development efforts and can actively participate in architecture discussions
  • You are passionate about development as much as about infrastructure
  • You are passionate about new technologies but understand that the best ones are those which move the business forward
  • The companys build pipelines run on GitLab CI
  • They believe in immutable infrastructure and use packer, terraform, terragrunt, docker and Kubernetes
  • They use Prometheus for metrics, Grafana for their visualisation
  • AWS is their primary cloud provider, but they also have presence in GCP; their belief is that cloud should be the boring part of the infrastructure
  • They use AWS Aurora (MySQL and Postgres) for databases, but they also have Elasticsearch, MongoDB and Redis clusters
  • Their next-generation platform uses GitOps approach (ArgoCD), infrastructure as code modules run Pulumi, we use Kafka as a backbone of our event driven platform.
