The successful candidate will join a team based in London to develop new global cross-asset trading and stock loanglobal platform built utilizing the latest technology and utilizing service oriented architecture as part of a broad strategic reengineering programme. Equity Finance Technology team is a global team of developers and business analysts spread across New York, London, Hong Kong , Mumbai and Tokyo.Key objectives critical to success:The candidate will be part of a global development team with responsibility to deliver Equity Finance system solutions in a series of phased deliverables. This will involve the following:

• Build next generation of our Equity Finance system based on micro service and even based architecture
• Deliver solution from inception to analysis, design, implementation and delivery
• Work with global team across US, EMEA and APAC, Mumbai
• System support and maintenance
• Partner with traders, Front and Middle office users to gather requirements and provide support

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

• Excellent core Java and Spring Framework design and development skill (3+ years)
• Good Database development skill with proficiency in writing queries and stored procedures (3+ years)
• Expert on Linux/Unix shell ( 3 years + )
• Expert on Python ( 3 year + )
• Understanding of message based architecture based on MQ / JMS / TIBCO (2+ years)
• Understanding of micro service architecture
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good team mentality and communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects
• Experienced and willing to be part of all SDLC stages of development
• Unix/Linux commands knowledge to perform some of the deployment and maintenance related activities
• Experienced in using Maven or Gradle, GIT/SVN, Jira, Jenkins, and other build and deployment tools
• Good problem solving and analytical skill
• Knowledge of either Prime Services, Stock Borrow Loan Systems or Prime Brokerage is desirable
