Senior Data Engineer - Python, Pandas, AWS

Essential Experience:Required skills and experience:

Extensive experience working as a Data Engineer or Application Developer
Expert knowledge in manipulating and joining data in multiple different formats (CSV, JSON, XML, text)
Expert knowledge in either Python (with Spark and Pandas) or in .NET (VB/C#)
Good level of knowledge in SQL
Good level of knowledge in designing data schemas
Good experience with big data concepts
Good knowledge in integrating external APIs for data acquisition

Nice to have skills and experience:

Experience with the Atlassian suite
Understanding of NoSQL concepts
Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS a plus)
Knowledge of containerisation (Docker)
Knowledge of data streaming technologies and techniques
Knowledge of Linux concepts, commands and scripting
Experience in designing rich data visualisations to communicate complex ideas to data scientists or company leaders
Experience in data scraping
