Senior Data Architect : EnergyAn Innovative Renewable Energy company is looking for a Data Architect to come join them on their mission to accelerate the Worlds transition to clean energy. The company is pioneering a customer centric data revolution in the clean energy market and theirgoal is to become an insight enabled organisation, through data-driven transformation.As Data Architect, you will oversee and govern the expansion of existing data architecture and the optimisation of data query performance, as well as design, implement, and document the data architecture and analytics platform. Are you an experienced Data Architect with a passion for building great products in a fast-paced environment Do you love using the latest technology and solve problems in an agile and innovative fashion Do you strive to find ways to get things done more efficientlyIf this sounds like you then this is the place for you.The Data Architect will be responsible for:Implementing business and IT data requirements through new data strategies and designs across all data platforms (relational, data warehouse, NoSQL), and data tools (transformation, reporting, integration, visualisation and analytics).Working with business and application/solution teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models.Define and govern data modelling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models.Identify the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, implement automated data loads, identify security concerns, build analytic models and data visualisations.Work proactively and independently to address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project deliver risks.Participate in defining overall data architectures for bespoke business applicationsThe Data Architect will have/be:Strong commercial hands-on experience with relational (PostgreSSQL, MSSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).Strong commercial hands-on experience with ETL tools.Experience with data warehouse, data lake and data mesh platforms, commercial experience with Redshift required.This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellentcommunication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
