Job Description

Our client is a leading investor services and technology solutions provider to leading global financial institutions. They have a rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Content Manager to join their London based Marketing team. This manager role has no team management responsibilities, so very much hands-on in managing projects. Experience working within finance and in RFPRequest for Proposal) is required for this position and Qvidian skills is a major plus. Offices are in central London and they are working a hybrid model.The RoleWe are currently recruiting an RFP (Request for Proposal) Content Manager to join our Marketing team in the Investor Services dept. In this role you will lead the RFP content strategy and management across the globe. You will be responsible for creatinga rigorous approach to content management as well as streamlining proposal automation. Interacting with over 150 subject matter experts, the RFP Content Manager will ensure that content stored in the database is up to date, accurate and differentiated.Key responsibilities include:RFP Content Strategy

  • Develop and implement content strategy to differentiate our end-to-end service capabilities, specialist expertise and technology offerings
  • Execute content strategy related initiatives to ensure alignment with the companys growth strategy, brand, and key messaging
RFP Content Management
  • Own all content management for the company , interfacing with over 150 subject matter experts (SMEs) and the RFP Team
  • Own the governance and processes around keeping all content up to date, adding new content, addressing knowledge gaps, and running a periodic timetable to get SMEs to sign off their content
  • Write and edit both standard and strategic content to ensure we are appropriately positioning the companys end-to-end service capabilities, specialist expertise and technology offerings which are tailored to client goals and needs
  • Review analytics across content to understand content that is most frequently used and where some content could be retired
  • Ensure that branding, styles, spelling, grammar and tone is consistent across all content
RFP Support
  • Support large strategic RFPs with tailored content where required
  • Proofread and review RFPs across the Team
Technology platform support
  • Identify new features of the proposal automation tool to be applied to their RFP and Content process to enhance user experience and reduce production time
  • Provide training to SMEs on the use of their proposal automation tool
  • Ongoing user management including license management, user maintenance, and license reconciliation
  • Serve as a technical expert of the proposal automation tool within the company, including inquiry management and documentation
Special Projects
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects, and other team/business initiatives such as proposal automation product upgrades, developing standard questionnaires
Team Leadership
  • Mentor and train team members on content best practice
  • Engage with SMEs on a regular basis to build team relationships and review feedback, processes, and content
  • Identify strategies to improve RFP / RFI / DDQ quality and efficiency
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
  • BA or Equivalent
  • Up to 5 years relevant work/industry experience
  • 3+ years of experience of content management / working in RFP Teams
  • Strong writing ability
  • Great proofreading and copy-editing skills
  • Excellent collaboration and project management skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate key information quickly and effectively at the "headline" and detail level
  • Detail-oriented; comfortable following complex instructions and managing other people to deadlines
  • Proficient in Office suite of products
  • Knowledge of Qvidian or other Proposal Automation tools a plus
  • Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) a plus but not essential
