Within the UK SAP team we have opportunities in SAP Procurement. The role will entail ownership and delivery of SAP procurement solutions covering purchase to pay processes in the direct and indirect procurement environments. You will be utilising your hands on configuration expertise in S/4 HANA (cloud/On-premise) to deliver high quality procurement solutions to our clients. In addition, you will have the opportunity to utilise your experience in S/4HANA Procurement integration with other SAP products such as Ariba and OpenText VIM as part of wider local and global large scale S/4 transformation programmes. Your roleAs an SAP Purchase to Pay Consultant, your role will involve: • Leading pre-sales conversations with the clients and helping to shape a vision of their Procurement Transformation journey roadmap • Build client relationships with procurement stakeholders • Delivery of SAP enabled transformation programmes - specialising in Purchase to Pay processes for direct and indirect procurement but with an appreciation of the integration with the wider S/4 Finance and Supply Chain landscape • Develop and manage implementation plans that maximise the potential of SAP technology whilst minimising implementation risk • Designing end-to-end solutions and ensure deliverables are consistent with design principles, standards and methodologies • Lead client workshops covering a range of topics including; process design, industry best practices and bring SME knowledge in Procure to Pay in the direct and indirect procurement environments. • Facilitate high-level and detailed design workshops for your functional area; collecting business requirements and mapping out business processes • Lead or participate in practice development activities which support sales activities and internal capability development Your work, your choiceAt Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. Work pattern: This is a permanent full-time opportunity, with a travel requirement, but with the opportunity to benefit from the Firms agile working practices Your professional experienceTo be successful in this role you are required to demonstrate:• Excellent stakeholder management • A clear understanding of Purchase to Pay integration with wider Source to Contract, Finance and Supply Chain processes • Experience of delivering SAP Purchase to Pay solutions as part of a transformation programme • Expertise in SAP Purchase to Pay solutions including procurement master data management, requisitioning, ordering, invoicing, Accounts Payable (AP) payments and closing in the direct/indirect procurement environment • Expertise in delivering special procurement processes for direct procurement i.e. subcontracting, consignment and VMI • Expertise in system integrations, workflow, data migration and system testing • Aware of recent SAP S/4 HANA innovations and roadmap in the procurement marketplace • Able to provide SME input and best practice business process in Purchase to Pay • Experience of Agile working practices on an SAP implementation, along with planning of activities during the project • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) working with client stakeholders to development teams Your service line: ConsultingOur people and the way we work are the two things that set us apart in the consulting universe.
