If this opportunity is of interest to you with some flexibility, please do discuss with us. Your role The Data & Analytics Delivery team sits within our Analytics and Cognitive consulting group. Our practitioners work on challenging projects with leading FTSE 100 clients across strategy, advisory and implementation. Our projects vary greatly and your responsibility as a Senior Consultant will differ based on the focus of the client engagement and your skillset but could include and may require you to: • Design or build part of a data solution such as an ETL components, data lake, data warehouse, and reporting solutions, or data virtualisation solutions • Provide technical expertise on data management such as data mining, data cleansing, and storage • Manage a small team to complete a discrete piece of client work • Advise clients on appropriate tooling for a particular solution based on your expertise in specific technologies • Conduct stakeholder interviews or lead client workshops to capture business or technical requirements for a data solution • Own the development of content for client bids and contribute to presentations of proposals • Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution • Mentor more junior resources and bring your own perspective, skills and experience to develop the team • Develop and grow the Delivery practice by owning the development and delivery of training content, reusable assets, playbooks and industry / technology propositions, supporting relationships with vendors and the general running of the practice, contributing to the recruitment of junior resources, actively participating in community events to share knowledge and nurture positive and collaborative relationships within the practice. Whilst some clients are London based, we do spend time on site with regional and international clients. Your professional experienceCandidates will have hands on experience with one or more technologies relevant to these areas: • Data Integration (including ETL / ELT) • Data Migration • Master Data Management • Business Intelligence and Reporting • Data Warehousing • Data Virtualisation • Big Data Engineering • Business and Data Analysis • Data Projects Delivery • Data Governance • Data Cataloguing • Data Quality We are specifically looking for candidates with both technical and business focused skills, who can articulate the outcomes and value of their work, and have working experience in some of the following: • Experience of working as a data analyst with ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical data designs • Experience in ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Talend or Pentaho • Experience in using data governance and data management tools such as Informatica MDM, Informatica AXON, Informatica EDC, and Collibra • Proficient in knowledge of databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases • Programming experience in languages such as Spark or Python • Knowledge of popular cloud platforms for such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud and distributed processing technologies such as Hadoop • Experience in Agile and/or DevOps for software development & IT operations and knowledge of SDLC • Experience of managing small projects, or managing workstreams or teams within a larger project and taking responsibility for the team and project deliverables • Managing teams across multiple locations both within the UK and overseas, and in an onshore/offshore delivery model • Ability to demonstrate stakeholder management skills and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams • Competent use of Microsoft packages, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel • Strong written, communication and presentation skills Your service line: Consulting Our people and the way we work are the two things that set us apart in the consulting universe.
