Job Description

Interim Senior Communications OfficerBased in London, hybridLength: 3 months initiallyIR35: Inside IR35We are currently supporting the Communications team in a London Borough who are looking for an interim Senior Communications Officer to manage the process of creating a quarterly newspaper. Key Responsibilities and experience required of the interim Senior Communications Officer:

  • Leading the development of the Council newspaper which goes out to residents on a quarterly basis
  • Creating regular content which will require writing, editing and sub-editing skills
  • Liaising with various advertisers
  • Working and developing reactive lines quickly
  • Experience in communications and can work independentlydeveloping and managing content
  • Knowledge and experience in a Local Government communications environment
