The Team:The Data Management Lab (DML) sits within the Data organization and supports Datas pursuit of data management excellence through aligning industry best practices with Bloombergs established expertise in financial market data. DML empowers our data professionalsto make their products "ready-to-use", through promoting increased data discoverability, accessibility, appraisability, interoperability, and analysis-readiness. The Business Intelligence (BI) team sits alongside our Data Quality and Process Engineering teams and supports DMLs mission by empowering data teams to analyse their operations from our clients perspective. As a member of the BI team, you will lead the chargeto ensure Data provides our clients with high quality data that moves markets around the world. We partner closely with all Data product teams and our Engineering counterparts, to champion solutions that meet the needs of our client-facing products. Primary themes in this area include leading the continual refinement of the best practices and applicationof data management principles, as well as development of the tooling and solutions to measure our data products as fit-for-purpose. The Role:As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic and empowered group that acts as a catalyst for data-driven decision-making across multiple business units within the department. You will play a vital role in using data to drive strategicbusiness decisions, enhance operational efficiency, and uncover valuable insights. You will collaborate closely with partners from various business units, serving as an empowerment agent for their data needs. You will work alongside cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between data and business objectives to provide meaningful and actionableinsights. By understanding the unique requirements and challenges of each business unit, you will develop tailored analytical solutions and standardized reporting frameworks that support their specific goals. Your responsibilities will extend beyond traditional data analysis. As a trusted advisor, you will actively engage with partners, guiding them through the data exploration process, helping them uncover trends, patterns, and key performance indicators. By distillingcomplex datasets into clear and impactful visualizations, you will effectively communicate insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making at all levels of the organization. You will also have the opportunity to lead global projects that focus on operational analytics and data quality reporting. By collaborating with teams across different regions, you will contribute to the development of standardized solutions that measure productperformance, identify operational concerns, and drive continuous improvement. As a key member of our BI team, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, empowering our businessunits to make data-driven decisions that propel our organization forward. • Lead global projects for operational analytics, business performance management, and data quality reporting for the Bloomberg Data products;
• Showcase subject-matter expertise in organizational business intelligence;
• Engage with internal partners to understand their business needs and to define data measurement requirements, ultimately delivering analytical insights and visualizations to measure both product (external, client-facing) and operational (internal, datamanagement oriented) concerns;
• Work across multiple partners and abstract commonalities between products, to deliver standardized and scalable solutions while supporting bespoke development as business units require;
• Perform data profiling and analysis, using appropriate statistical methodologies to support decision making;
• Champion organizational change around business intelligence, through developing standard practises and training counterparts on the solutions developed;
• Continue learning about industry trends, standards, and innovation within the BI data management domain;
• Collaborate with senior management across the organization to meet product needs.

Youll need to have:

• 4+ Years of professional experience* in Business Intelligence such as extracting, loading and analysing large volume of data or experience in data management/governance, within finance or technology industries;
• Demonstrated experience in building dashboard applications such as Qlik Sense and Tableau;
• Experience in Data Profiling/Analysis using tools such as Python, SQL and Excel;
• Project management experience developed in a matrixed stakeholder environment and cross-regional business;
• Experience in designing and developing metrics and reporting across organization;
• Ability to lead multiple projects with global scope in parallel, with solid project management, communication, and leadership skills;
• A creative and flexible approach to problem-solving, coupled with an experimental posture, to challenge past assumptions and provide new ways of thinking;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
