A progressive law firm headquartered in London is seeking a highly experienced Business Development professional, looking for their next career step, to formulate and execute business development and marketing plans and campaigns for the Construction, RealEstate and Disputes group and to help in the identification, creation and progression of opportunities to win new business.With line management and career development responsibility for a Senior BD Executive and a BD Executive and working closely with the CRED leadership team, the successful applicant will need to use their extensive knowledge of the legal market, alongsideglobal real estate and construction sector awareness, to support strategic BD decisions. Working agilely and keeping track of major market legal developments, you will be responsible for the development, review and update of strategic business planning andbudgeting materials, ensuring they focus on growth clients, key geographies and areas of expertise. Acting as a champion for the firms CRM system and using a data driven approach to client activity, you will support the pipeline process and be tasked withBD relationship management of CRED clients included in the firms key client programme. The Senior Business Development Manager will be a leading figure within the CRED division on the pitching process, from pre-pitch strategic discussion to document productionand advice and will be expected to lead on pitch meetings and provide advice throughout the pitch process. On the marketing side, the role holder will oversee the legal directories and award submissions process and work with fee earners and the PR team onthe coordination of PR activity for their groups.A committed team-player with a strong ability to engage colleagues at every level in projects and initiatives, the Senior Business Development Manager will have a proven track record of delivering results and targets to strict deadlines in a legal, realestate or construction environment.
