Job Description

Vacancy Reference: VR/05093Role Description:Bridge Recruitment are currently networking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join the Team of one of our clients, a forward-thinking commercial cleaning company who is fast growing and dynamic. Our client is constantly striving to reach new heightswhen it comes to customer experience and sustainability and they are now looking to appoint a Senior Business Development Manager to help them to continue achieving their goals. As Senior Business Development Manager, you will identify and target new sectorsand growth opportunities as agreed with the Head of Sales, to grow the companys client portfolio. The ideal Senior Business Development Manager must have industry knowledge and experience, and will be determined, a good negotiator and a strong team player.Responsibilities:

  • Identify, classify and develop Sales Leads in line with company strategy and as agreed with the Head of Sales
  • Follow up allocate Sales Leads, Periodic and Ad-hoc quotations
  • Influence potential clients to increase the probability of a sale
  • Prepare a monthly summary of sales activity through CRM/ tracker
  • Work with the Head of Marketing, identifying suitable strategies
  • Ensure quotes and invoices for work are accurate and ensure an appropriate profit margin
  • Produce proposals and quotes supported by the Bid Manager for larger complex bids
  • Work with the Graphic Designer to produce collateral and presentations to support sales pitches
  • Work with the Head of Marketing, facilitating the production of sales literature to support sales activity
  • Assist the Head of Sales with skills development of the BDMs within the Sales Team
  • Establish effective working relationships with a wide range of staff internally and at clients and potential clients
  • Work closely with the Implementation Team to ensure precise handover of new opportunities
  • Comply with the Sales Procedures at all times, unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • Reach and exceed financial targets set and agreed with Head of Sales, focusing on delivering the agreed gross margin
  • Identify and agree new target client categories with Head of Sales to deliver market expansion
