Job Description

This role focuses on investment strategy/product with prospective and existing clients in Europe including UK.Client DetailsMy client is growing Asset Management firm based in the city of London.Description

  • Introduce new investment from prospective and existing clients regarding the investment strategy/product
  • Lead sales process from prospecting through calls, including lead generation, pipeline development, client meetings, prospect qualification, and contribute to the development of product presentations and questionnaires
  • Particularly, make appointments of product presentation meetings with prospective and existing clients
  • Maintain and develop relationships with "White Label" clients
  • Work closely with the Tokyo Investment Team in business development efforts
  • Have deep knowledge and understanding of asset management business and products as well as their regulatory requirements
  • Adhere to standards of conduct and integrity within the business and ensure compliance with industry practice, company policies, statute, and regulatory requirements in all matters
  • Provide clients with on-going updates on the markets, investment strategies and products, including tailoring communication to the technical level of the audience
  • Develop an understanding for the target market, their challenges, and opportunities, and ensure this is understood by the business, corporate functions, etc
  • Play a lead role in identification of key client pain points, solution scope and opportunities to cross sell other product lines across the business
Profile
  • At least 3-year experience in business development area in the asset management, particularly experience with prospective investors to introduce new investments
  • Multiple language in EU countries is plus
  • Broad understanding of marketing funds, particularly UCITS and/or AIFMD are preferred
  • Self-starter who takes ownership of their workload and who has a hands-on approach
  • Co-operative team player
  • Motivation, resilience and the mindset to cold call
