Business Analyst – Legal Entity Realignment ProgrammeClient: An internationally reputable Financial Services/Banking institution. Location: London - Hybrid working arrangement between office and home. Project Aim:• Identify, document, and recommend process improvements for a unification programme uniting the banks legal entities across the EMEA region. • Main focus areas: London, Frankfurt, Paris, and other European jurisdictions. Prerequisite Qualifications:• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a similar setting. • Demonstrable experience instigating and implementing transnational banking projects, ideally between the UK and EU, with experience of mergers/de-mergers/integrations/legal entity reorganisation and realignment projects. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively within a diverse, multi-disciplinary team. • Knowledge of banking operations and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:• Support an EMEA branch transition from the UK to an EU-based operational and reporting regime. • Create and document detailed business analyses, addressing problems, opportunities, and solutions in business or strategy-based projects. • Bridge the gap between IT and the business by utilizing data to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. • Identify areas of impact on the target operating model and provide solutions to mitigate impact. • Communicate within multi-disciplinary teams, gaining consensus for the best solution, and implementing changes within set parameters of time, budget, and quality. • Collaborate with SMEs and end-users to understand and document practical implications for associated systems and processes. • Document business requirements, process flows, and the design of the target operating model, including technical revisions and updates. • Liaise with internal colleagues and EMEA offices to identify necessary changes, analyse and provide recommendations, and communicate the preferred approach across stakeholders. • Clearly communicate within a multi-disciplinary team, gaining consensus for the best solution, and implementing changes to maintain compliance and efficiency. • Ensure benefits of changes and recommendations are communicated to relevant departments and senior stakeholders, addressing uncertainties and concerns. • Support and involve appropriate staff and teams in QA, testing, and delivery of changes, resolving any issues. • Be accountable to the Project lead throughout the project duration, potentially presenting at Steer Cos, translating complex processes and technical details for effective decision-making.
