Role OverviewRegulators globally have an increasing expectation that firms have adequate systems and controls in place to mitigate against Record Keeping & Market Abuse Risk such as Insider Dealing, Market Manipulation and Dissemination. Communication Record Keeping andSurveillance is at the forefront of internal and external regulatory enquiries. We are looking for a Business Analyst to support TP ICAPs Communications Record Keeping & Surveillance Technology Programme. Role Responsibilities

  • Manage and operate Record Keeping & Surveillance controls owned by Compliance Technology.
  • Ensure the communication channels are appropriately governed and monitored.
  • Monitor and track issues, risks and dependencies and ensure the Program Manager is kept apprised of the status of the assigned projects and activities.
  • Coordinate, hold, and lead requirements gathering and process definition workshops with stakeholders across the firm.
  • Perform routine testing on all recorded communication platforms to ensure platforms are recording as intended.
  • Analyse problem statements/business requirements and propose solutions to key stakeholders.
  • Liaison between IT & Compliance on a day to day basis, supporting all daily queries and managing vendor support, and support for both upstream and downstream platforms e.g. Teams, Slack, Bloomberg, etc. and comms record keeping and surveillance platformse.g. Global Relay, TeleMessage.
Experience / CompetencesEssential
  • Strong Technical experience with managing Communication Archives e.g. Global Relay.
  • Strong Technical experience with managing Communication Applications e.g. Teams Chat or Teams Voice.
  • Strong Business or Technical experience in a BA role in a regulated/financial context.
  • Strong Knowledge of regulations such as MAR, or SEC 17a-4 or similar.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with an informed evidence based approach.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Proven ability to be a lateral thinker.
  • Ability to self-prioritise work, and influence stakeholders.
Desired
  • Expert understanding of JIRA and Confluence.
  • Project Management experience in a regulated/financial context.
