Job Description

We are looking for a senior business analyst for our client’s Charles River engineering team. Someone with a self starter attitude and exhibit expert communication and presentation skills. The role will be concentrating on the migration from on-prem 21R1to CRD SaaS but will be expected to provide CRD analysis and support to the rest of front office trading. The candidate must have expert CRD knowledge and have the ability to configure and maintain large areas of a CRD environment, preferably CRD V9+, includingMWB. The candidate is expected to have good business knowledge with good understanding of the trading lifecycle and portfolio management techniques, they are also expected to have very good SQL coding skills.Role Summary:

  • Requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in their own job discipline and working knowledge of related disciplines
  • Leads projects or work streams within broader projects
  • Accountable for work of self and sometimes others, provides process and standards advice in area of specialty
  • Works independently, receives minimal guidance
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
Responsibilities:
  • Defines complex or enterprise-wide business needs for new and/or enhanced products, services, or optimized business processes
  • Works closely and develops relationships with a variety of senior-level internal and external business partners to ensure that all business requirements are understood, documented, and met
  • Ensures a lean agile mindset is applied across assigned business domain or portfolio
  • Works on initiatives of moderate complexity, size, and impact
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Charles River V9+ 5+ years minimum experience
  • Very good MSSQL 5+ years, comfortable writing procs, functions, triggers, queries
  • Front office trading experience
  • Banking domain knowledge
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Can articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions
  • Identifies system/process/data impacts (upstream and downstream) and proposes appropriate alternatives/remediation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptable and able to learn quickly
