Job Description

Our client is recruiting for a Senior Biomedical Engineer to cover the London area. There may be travel between the London sites on occassion.The Role

  • Provision of daily on-site repair, preventative maintenance and asset management of medical devices within specified hospital locations.
  • To work with and support the site / team leader in achieving contract KPIs.
  • Complete all associated administrative work in completing repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Support customers when ever needed to ensure minimal disruption to the operation of the hospital.
  • Build long term relationships with customers, subcontractors and staff to ensure responsiveness and support
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturers guidelines
  • Complete repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufactures guidelines
  • Complete associated admin needed to close repairs
  • Travel to various sites as required to perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance
  • Maintain safe working practices with the hospital environment
  • Exceed contact KPIs to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist Junior Biomed Engineer whenever required
  • Maintain spare part stock wherever necessary
  • Scheduling and completing workload for assigned customers within area
  • Maintaining service documentation in line with business requirements
  • Responsible for escalating and defining necessary resources to maintain equipment
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers for spare part and contract quotations
  • Responsible for delivering customer satisfaction
  • Deal with OEMs service staff and management when required
    • The Person
  • 3 - 5 Years experience in biomedical
  • Patient monitoring, diathermys (electro surgery units), Theatre tables, Defibrillators, Infusion & volumetric devices, Anaesthesia equipment, Ventilation devices equipment Familiarity with appropriate national and local regulatory standards
  • Has worked in clinical areas and involving patient communication
  • Competent with a broad range of medical devicese
