Senior Backend Developer - Billions of hits a day platformAre you a Senior Backend Developer based locally to London Do you want to built out the back end for a platform which gets over a billion hit combinations a day If so, our role if the one for you!This is an excellent opportunity to join on of the world most popular online travel companies. The platform you will be working has a huge amount of traffic single day. This is a fantastic time to be joining the business. Were currently expanding to theNordic and US markets and expect a huge increase in traffic and projects.The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for a combination of the following:

  • Develop backend features across multiple projects using Typescript and Node.
  • Maintaining and improving Node.js micro-services, fully automated continuous delivery pipelines, and contribute to the web application codebases.
  • Work on GraphQL system and API gateways.
The successful Senior Backend Developer will have a combination of the following skills and experiences:
  • Multiple years industry experience using NodeJS and Typescript/ReactJS.
  • Experience working on projects within scalability and performance, addressing them by employing cutting edge algorithms, software design and technologies.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes or Rust would be highly beneficial.
Salary/Benefits:
  • £110,000
