Job Description

A global bank with a strong presence in the UK is seeking a Senior Associate to join it Financial Institutions GroupThe role supports and facilitates transactions with over 350 banks around the wold and works on both sides of the balance sheet.You will be:-

  • Handling telephone enquiries and emails from and about correspondent banks/ Financial Institutions for both the Branch and Subsidiary of SBI in London
  • Conducting KYC & AML due diligence for existing and New Relationship
  • Handling work related to Correspondent Banking relationship
  • Assisting with all work related to Business Development within the department
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors for the department
  • As part of team to ensure compliance of any internal legal & compliance guidelines or regulatory requirement
    • You will have:-
  • Worked in Finacle Core and SWIFT
  • Worked in the area of wholesale correspondent banking and having indepth knowledge and understanding on the subject Working knowledge of current KYC compliance requirements by various regulatory bodies for FIs and its impact on bank to bank relationships
  • Knowledge of the channels of Correspondent Banking
  • Ability to learn new regulations and translate them into policies and proceedures
  • Awareness of the risk factors in the wholesale and correspondent banking markets
